Looks like Jet Li is coming up with another film~ I thought he was done with these ancient, Chinese martial arts films, but I guess he changed his mind!
The film is based on the Chinese Legend of the White Snake. I haven’t heard of this until now, so I might check out some of the books we have in the library to see if I can find out more about it. The film was also shown out of competition at the 68th Venice International Film Festival last 3rd of September, so I’m guessing there are a lot of nifty effects to look forward to~
Can’t wait until the 28th~ Please show this in the original Mandarin dialect with English subtitles! I’m begging you Philippines!!!
Hopefully they release the DVD soon and our local DVD rental store would have it. LOL! I would like to watch it, seems interesting. And I do hope yet again it's not gonna a boring super story telling movie.

ReplyDeletei watched it in SM north edsa and it had the original mandarin audio with chinese/english subs alright. just the way i'd prefer it. XD

ReplyDeleteIt wasn't like the usual Jet Li films. In fact, it was more of a love story between the other casts. But still, it's Jet Li!!! *supports ALL Jet Li movies*
ReplyDeleteMy boyfriend fell asleep halfway through the movie though (BOO!). And the only thing he said was that the main protagonist was pretty. >__>
...LMAO! So it wasn't much of an action movie after all... If your boyfriend fell asleep then, haha! xDDD
